DAPT (CAT: A000703) is a potent and selective γ-secretase inhibitor widely employed in neurological and immunological research. As a non-transition-state analogue, it is one of the most extensively studied GSIs in experimental models. DAPT effectively reduces amyloid-β (Aβ) production in human primary neuronal cultures with reported IC₅₀ values of 115–200 nM, making it a key tool in Alzheimer’s disease research. Additionally, DAPT blocks Notch signaling with an IC₅₀ of ~500 nM, enabling studies on cell differentiation, autoimmune disorders, and lymphoproliferative diseases. Its dual relevance to neurodegeneration and immunology establishes DAPT as a versatile reference compound in biomedical investigations.
