NVP-VID-400 (Cat No.:I008388) is an inhibitor of the enzyme CYP51, which is involved in the biosynthesis of sterols in various organisms, including Trypanosoma cruzi and Trypanosoma brucei. In studies, NVP-VID-400 exhibited potent inhibitory activity against T. cruzi and T. brucei, with I/E2a(5 min) values less than 1 and I/E2(60 min) values of 9 and 35, respectively.
