Chlorogenic acid（Cat No.:I003163）, alternatively known as ‘coffee tannic acid’ or simply ‘CGA’, is a phenylpropanoid compound that is synthesized via the shikimic acid pathway in plants during aerobic respiration. It is a derivative of caffeoylquinic acid and is known for its potent antioxidant properties. In addition, CGA has been found to possess a range of other beneficial functions, such as anti-HIV and anti-tumor cell activity, anti-bacterial properties, central excitation improvement, cholagogue action, anti-teratogenic effects, anti-allergenic activity, and regulation of cytochrome P450 ligase activity.
