Inhibitor of ubiquitin-specific peptidase 4 (USP4), USP5/isopeptidase T (IsoT) and UCH-L1 deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) activity (IC<sub>50</sub> values are 1.5, 5.9 and 22.3 <span class=/’symbol/’>&#956;</span>M, respectively). Shows no significant inhibition of UCH-L3, USP2, and USP8 activities. Decreases release of TNF-<span class=/’symbol/’>&#945;</span> (IC<sub>50</sub> = 0.09 nM) from RBL-2H3 mast cells. Displays anti-cancer activity decreasing viability in human colonic carcinoma cells.
