Vepafestinib (Cat No.: I038002) is a highly selective, brain-penetrant inhibitor of the receptor tyrosine kinase RET (rearranged during transfection), developed for the treatment of RET-altered cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and thyroid cancers. It targets both RET fusions and activating mutations with minimal off-target activity, enhancing efficacy and safety. Notably, vepafestinib shows strong central nervous system (CNS) penetration, addressing brain metastases common in RET-driven tumors. It is under clinical investigation as a next-generation therapy for RET-dependent malignancies with resistance to earlier inhibitors.
