SKIV（Cat No.:I015527） is a highly potent noncompetitive inhibitor of nonlipid sphingosine kinase (SPHK) and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K). It demonstrates an IC50 value of 2 μM for GST-hSK and 6 μM for hPI3K, respectively. By inhibiting SPHK, SKIV effectively reduces the production of the mitotic second messenger sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P).
