Oncrasin-1 (CAT: I004801) is a potent and selective anticancer inhibitor that specifically targets human lung cancer cells with K-Ras mutations. It acts as an inhibitor of the K-Ras/PKCι pathway, inducing apoptosis and inhibiting tumor cell growth and survival. In vitro, studies have demonstrated its efficacy in killing lung cancer cells with K-Ras mutations at low concentrations, while in vivo administration has shown tumor growth suppression and prolonged survival in animal models. Oncrasin-1’s unique mechanism of action, involving abnormal aggregation of PKCι in sensitive cells, makes it a promising candidate for targeted therapy in K-Ras mutant lung cancer.
