NCC007 (CAT; I018957) is a dual inhibitor of casein kinase Iα (CKIα) and casein kinase δ (CKIδ) with IC50 values of 1.8 μM and 3.6 μM, respectively. NCC007 has been studied for its potential role in modulating mammalian circadian rhythms. In experiments, NCC007 was shown to control circadian rhythms when infused into the lateral ventricle at concentrations ranging from 5 to 15 mM. This suggests that NCC007 may have utility as a tool compound for investigating the regulation of circadian rhythms through CKI inhibition.
