HKSOX-1 (Cat No.: I045485) is a selective fluorescent probe developed for the detection of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) in biological and environmental samples. It operates via a sulfur–oxygen exchange (SOX) reaction mechanism, generating a fluorescence signal upon reacting with H₂S. This enables sensitive, real-time monitoring of H₂S dynamics in live cells and tissues. HKSOX-1 is widely applied in chemical biology and biomedical research to investigate H₂S’s physiological and pathological roles, including its involvement in cardiovascular function, neurotransmission, inflammation, and oxidative stress-related disease processes.
