FCCP (Cat No.:I003362) is an effective uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria, disrupting ATP synthesis by transporting protons. FCCP is a protonophore (H+ ionophore) and an uncoupler of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. It depolarizes the plasma and mitochondrial membranes. FCCP can affect various activities involved in cellular calcium ions.
