Duloxetine hydrochloride (Cat No.: A001076) is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) used to treat major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathy, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. It works by increasing serotonin and norepinephrine levels in the brain, enhancing mood and pain regulation. Taken orally, duloxetine is generally well-tolerated, though side effects may include nausea, dry mouth, drowsiness, and dizziness. It may raise blood pressure and should be used cautiously in patients with liver disease or those taking other serotonergic drugs due to serotonin syndrome risk.
