Complement factor D-IN-2(Cat No.:I044645)is a potent, selective small-molecule inhibitor of complement factor D, a serine protease essential for activating the alternative complement pathway. By blocking factor D, it prevents the cleavage of factor B and formation of the C3 convertase, thereby reducing downstream complement activation and inflammation. With a molecular formula of C₂₇H₂₄BrN₇O₃ and molecular weight of 574.43 g/mol, it is supplied as a high-purity solid and is soluble in DMSO. Complement factor D-IN-2 is used in immunology research, particularly for studying complement-mediated diseases and therapeutic intervention strategies.
