Cilengitide (Cat No.:I004160) is a highly potent inhibitor of the αvβ3 and αvβ5 integrin receptors, with inhibitory concentration (IC50) values of 4.1 nM and 79 nM, respectively, in cell-free assays. It exhibits approximately 10-fold selectivity towards these integrin receptors compared to gpIIbIIIa. By targeting αvβ3 and αvβ5 integrins, Cilengitide interferes with cell adhesion and signaling processes involved in angiogenesis and tumor growth.
