Ansamitocin P-3 (Cat.No:I004500), also known as ansamitocin-Δ2,3-3′-methyl ester, is a potent antitumor antibiotic produced by the Actinosynnema pretiosum bacteria. It is a macrocyclic lactam that inhibits microtubule assembly and promotes their depolymerization. Ansamitocin P-3 has shown strong activity against various types of cancer cells and is being studied as a potential chemotherapy drug.
