AGN 196996（Cat No.:I005684）is a small molecule inhibitor of the epigenetic regulator bromodomain-containing protein 4 (BRD4), which binds to acetylated lysine residues on histones and regulates gene transcription. AGN 196996 has been shown to inhibit the growth of multiple cancer cell lines and suppress tumor growth in mouse models of cancer. It also downregulates the expression of key oncogenes, including MYC, and induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells.
