Ac-Nle-Pro-Nle-Asp-AMC(Cat No.:R067000)is a fluorogenic peptide substrate commonly used to measure the enzymatic activity of caspases, particularly caspase-3 and related proteases involved in apoptosis. The peptide sequence contains Nle (norleucine) and is capped with AMC (7-amino-4-methylcoumarin), a fluorophore that emits fluorescence upon cleavage at the aspartic acid residue. This allows real-time monitoring of protease activity in cell lysates or biochemical assays. The acetyl (Ac) group at the N-terminus enhances stability.
