AC‑green (Cat No.:I045000) is a β‑allyl carbamate fluorescent probe designed for selective imaging of vicinal dithiol proteins (VDPs) in living systems (excitation/emission ≈ 400/475 nm). It exhibits over 60‑fold fluorescence enhancement in aqueous solution upon interaction with reduced bovine serum albumin (rBSA), with minimal interference from other thiols, amino acids, or salts. At 10 μM in live HepG2 or HeLa cells, it produces strong green fluorescence within ~15 min, which is abolished by pretreatment with PAO (a VDP ligand), confirming specificity.
