4-Bromo-2,5-dimethoxy-N-[(2-methoxyphenyl)methyl]benzeneethanamine Hydrochloride
2C-<wbr></wbr>B is a hallucinogenic designer drug which potently activates the serotonin receptor 5-<wbr></wbr>HT2C (pEC50 = 6.8 for arachidonic acid release). 25B-<wbr></wbr>NBOMe is a derivative of 2C-<wbr></wbr>B, characterized by the addition of a benzyl-<wbr></wbr>methoxy (BOMe) group to the amine. This N-<wbr></wbr>(2-<wbr></wbr>methoxybenzyl) addition significantly increases the affinity (Ki = 1.01 nM) and activity (ED50 = 0.51 nM) at the serotonin receptor 5-<wbr></wbr>HT2A. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
