YL-939 (Cat No.: I042361) is a small-molecule inhibitor developed to target the Hippo-YAP signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, and organ size. Dysregulation of this pathway is associated with various cancers. YL-939 stabilizes 14-3-3σ, a tumor suppressor protein, thereby enhancing its interaction with YAP (Yes-associated protein) and preventing YAP’s nuclear localization and transcriptional activity. By disrupting oncogenic YAP signaling, YL-939 shows promise in preclinical cancer models as a potential therapeutic agent for YAP-driven tumors.
