UNC9512(CAT: I040284) is a potent and selective antagonist of p53-binding protein 1 (53BP1), a key methyl-lysine reader involved in DNA double-strand break (DSB) repair. By inhibiting 53BP1’s interaction with methylated histones, UNC9512 disrupts the recruitment of 53BP1 to damaged chromatin, enabling detailed studies of DNA repair pathway choice, including the balance between non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) and homologous recombination (HR).
