Thiol-PEG8-alcohol(CAT: I016286) is a heterobifunctional polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker featuring a thiol group at one end and a hydroxyl group at the other, separated by an 8-unit PEG spacer. The thiol functionality allows selective conjugation with maleimide-, haloacetyl-, or gold-surface groups through stable thioether or thiolate bonds, while the hydroxyl group provides a versatile handle for further chemical derivatization or activation.
