Tenidap（Cat No.:R057462）is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) developed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. It exhibits dual action: inhibiting both cyclooxygenase (COX) and 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX), which reduces prostaglandin and leukotriene synthesis. Additionally, Tenidap modulates cytokine production, potentially limiting joint inflammation and damage. It was studied for its potential to relieve pain and inflammation with fewer gastrointestinal side effects than traditional NSAIDs. However, development was halted due to concerns over hepatotoxicity observed in clinical trials. Despite its discontinuation, Tenidap remains a point of interest in the design of multi-target anti-inflammatory agents.
