Suc-Ala-Phe-Lys-AMC(CAT: I040409) is a fluorogenic peptide substrate commonly used to assess the enzymatic activity of trypsin-like serine proteases, especially in proteasome and lysosomal research. The peptide sequence (Ala-Phe-Lys) is cleaved at the lysine residue, releasing the 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC) fluorophore, which emits fluorescence upon hydrolysis. This allows sensitive and quantitative monitoring of protease activity in biochemical assays. The N-terminal succinyl (Suc) group enhances substrate specificity and stability. Ideal for use in high-throughput screening, inhibitor profiling, and enzyme kinetics, Suc-Ala-Phe-Lys-AMC is supplied at high purity for reliable application in cell biology, drug discovery, and protease research workflows.
