Simufilam hydrochloride(Cat No.:I044446)is the hydrochloride salt form of Simufilam, a small-molecule drug candidate designed to restore the normal structure and function of altered filamin A (FLNA), a scaffolding protein involved in neuronal receptor regulation. By correcting FLNA dysfunction, Simufilam reduces aberrant signaling of receptors such as the α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor and toll-like receptors, which are implicated in neurodegenerative and inflammatory processes. It has shown promise in preclinical and clinical studies for Alzheimer’s disease by improving synaptic function and reducing biomarkers of neuroinflammation. Simufilam hydrochloride supports research into disease-modifying therapies for neurodegeneration.
