Silver(I) trifluoroacetate(Cat No.:L047020)is an organometallic compound composed of a silver cation (Ag⁺) paired with a trifluoroacetate anion (CF₃COO⁻). This white to off-white crystalline solid is highly soluble in organic solvents and is widely used in organic synthesis as a reagent or catalyst. Its strong electrophilic silver center makes it effective in promoting reactions such as halogen exchange, oxidative coupling, and C–H activation. The trifluoroacetate group enhances solubility and reactivity in fluorinated systems. Silver(I) trifluoroacetate is especially valuable in the preparation of heterocycles, fine chemicals, and advanced materials.
