PTBP1-RNA-binding inhibitor P6 (TFA)(CAT: I040233) is a stapled peptide inhibitor derived from the α3-helix of the PTBP1 (Polypyrimidine Tract Binding Protein 1), a key regulator of alternative splicing. This conformationally constrained peptide disrupts PTBP1’s interaction with RNA by interfering with its RNA recognition motif (RRM), thereby inhibiting PTBP1-mediated splicing events. P6 is a valuable tool for studying post-transcriptional gene regulation, RNA–protein interactions, and the functional roles of PTBP1 in cellular differentiation, oncogenesis, and neurological disorders. Its stapled structure enhances stability and cell permeability, making it suitable for in vitro and in vivo mechanistic studies.
