Protease-Activated Receptor-3 (PAR-3) (1–6), human TFA(Cat No.:I044269)is a synthetic peptide representing the N-terminal activation sequence of the human PAR-3 receptor. This receptor is part of the G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, activated by proteolytic cleavage that reveals a tethered ligand initiating intracellular signaling. The (1–6) fragment—typically the sequence TFRGAP—mimics the exposed ligand and is used to study PAR-3 activation mechanisms. The TFA (trifluoroacetate) salt form enhances peptide stability and handling. This peptide is valuable for exploring PAR-3’s roles in thrombosis, inflammation, and vascular biology.
