Propargyl-PEG2-NHS ester(Cat No.:I044571)is a heterobifunctional crosslinker featuring a propargyl (alkyne) group and an N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester, connected via a PEG2 spacer. The NHS ester reacts efficiently with primary amines on proteins, peptides, or other biomolecules to form stable amide bonds. The terminal propargyl group enables bioorthogonal conjugation through copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC), commonly known as click chemistry. The PEG2 linker enhances solubility and provides structural flexibility. Propargyl-PEG2-NHS ester is widely used in bioconjugation, surface modification, and the synthesis of multifunctional biomolecules for drug delivery, diagnostics, and chemical biology applications.
