PFN-I is the diiodide salt derivative of PFN, belonging to the family of conjugated polymer electrolytes (CPEs). Designed for interfacial engineering, PFN-I is widely applied as an electron-interface layer in organic electronic devices such as OLEDs, OPVs, and perovskite solar cells, where it enhances electron extraction and reduces energy barriers at the electrode interface. Beyond its role as an interlayer material, PFN-I can also serve as an active-layer component in blue OLED devices, benefiting from its favorable optoelectronic and charge-transport properties. Its versatility and multifunctionality make PFN-I an important material in advanced optoelectronic device architectures.
