Pasireotide acetate(Cat No.:I008558)is a long-acting somatostatin analog that binds with high affinity to multiple somatostatin receptor subtypes, particularly sst1, sst2, sst3, and sst5. It is used in the treatment of Cushing’s disease and acromegaly, especially in patients who are unresponsive to surgery or other medical therapies. By inhibiting the release of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and growth hormone, pasireotide helps normalize cortisol levels and reduce tumor activity. The acetate salt form enhances its stability and bioavailability. It is administered via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection for sustained therapeutic effects.
