Hydrogenated rosin (Cat No.: M017623) is a chemically stabilized form of natural rosin obtained by hydrogenating the resin acids in pine rosin. This process saturates double bonds, improving color stability, reducing oxidation, and enhancing resistance to crystallization. It appears as a light-colored, tacky solid and is widely used in adhesives, inks, coatings, cosmetics, and rubber compounds. Its excellent thermal stability and reduced odor make it ideal for sensitive applications. Hydrogenated rosin retains tackifying properties while offering improved shelf life and performance consistency.
