Osunprotafib（Cat No.:I043970）is an investigational small molecule designed to target and inhibit the protein MDM2, a negative regulator of the tumor suppressor p53. By blocking the MDM2-p53 interaction, osunprotafib activates p53, promoting cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells, particularly in tumors with intact p53 pathways. It has shown potential in preclinical studies for treating various cancers, including leukemia and solid tumors. Osunprotafib is currently under clinical investigation, with the aim of harnessing p53 reactivation as a therapeutic strategy in cancers that exhibit MDM2 overexpression or mutation.
