Ocedurenone (Cat No.: I033791) is a non-steroidal, selective mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist (MRA) developed for the treatment of uncontrolled hypertension and chronic kidney disease (CKD), particularly in patients with type 2 diabetes. Unlike steroidal MRAs, ocedurenone offers improved selectivity and reduced risk of side effects such as hyperkalemia and hormonal disturbances. By blocking the mineralocorticoid receptor, it helps lower blood pressure and reduce inflammation and fibrosis in kidney tissues. Ocedurenone is currently in clinical trials and shows promise as a safer, more targeted MRA therapy.
