The anti-leukemic compound NL-1 inhibits the growth of REH and REH/Ara-C cells with IC50 values of 47.35 µM and 56.26 µM, respectively, by acting as a mitoNEET inhibitor. Additionally, NL-1 induces leukemia cell death by activating the autophagy pathway.
