ML-SI1(Cat No.:I044539)is a selective small-molecule inhibitor of the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9, a key component of the mTORC1 nutrient-sensing pathway. By blocking SLC38A9, ML-SI1 disrupts amino acid–mediated activation of mTORC1, thereby modulating cell growth and autophagy. This mechanism makes ML-SI1 a valuable tool for studying lysosomal signaling, metabolism, and diseases associated with dysregulated mTOR activity, such as cancer and neurodegeneration. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its ability to inhibit mTORC1 signaling in vitro, offering insights into nutrient sensing and potential avenues for targeted therapeutic development.
