Methyl Acetate (Cat No.: R045575) is a colorless, flammable liquid ester with a pleasant, fruity odor. It is widely used as a fast-evaporating solvent in paints, adhesives, coatings, and nail polish removers due to its excellent solvency for resins and polymers. Methyl acetate is miscible with most organic solvents but has limited water solubility. It is also employed in pharmaceutical and fragrance manufacturing.
