Mal-PEG3-Boc(CAT: I016233) is a heterobifunctional PEG-based linker bearing a maleimide moiety and a Boc-protected amine, separated by a triethylene glycol (PEG3) spacer. The maleimide group reacts selectively with thiols, enabling site-specific conjugation to cysteine residues in peptides, proteins, or antibodies. The Boc-protected amine serves as a latent handle, which upon deprotection yields a primary amine for further functionalization or coupling. The PEG3 spacer enhances solubility, reduces steric interference, and improves biocompatibility. Mal-PEG3-Boc is highly useful in designing inhibitors, drug–protein conjugates, and bioconjugation strategies in cancer, metabolic, and immunological disease research where precision and stability are essential.
