Lithium sulfate(VI)(Cat No.:M061230), commonly referred to as lithium sulfate (Li₂SO₄), is an inorganic salt composed of two lithium cations and one sulfate (SO₄²⁻) anion, where sulfur is in the +6 oxidation state. It appears as a white, crystalline solid highly soluble in water and exhibits good thermal stability. Lithium sulfate is used in ceramics and glass manufacturing to improve thermal shock resistance, in air conditioning systems as a desiccant, and in specialized batteries and electrolytes. It also finds application in biochemical research. It must be handled with care due to potential lithium-related health effects.
