For research use only. Not for therapeutic Use.
Lithium Manganese Oxide, also known as lithium manganate, is a spinel-structured cathode material for lithium-ion batteries. Offering high safety, environmental friendliness, and cost-effectiveness, LMO is considered a strong alternative to nickel- or cobalt-based layered oxides. Its three-dimensional spinel framework enhances lithium-ion transport, delivering excellent rate capability and power performance. With a nominal operating voltage of ~4.0 V, higher than LiCoO₂, LMO provides strong energy output while maintaining structural stability. Abundant raw material availability and superior thermal stability make LMO especially suitable for applications requiring sustainable, safe, and high-performance lithium-ion energy storage solutions.
