For research use only. Not for therapeutic Use.
Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate is a manganese-doped derivative of lithium iron phosphate (LFP), engineered to enhance energy density and voltage performance in lithium-ion batteries. By incorporating manganese, LMFP achieves higher operating voltages and energy densities of 210–240 Wh·kg⁻¹ compared to standard LFP. It demonstrates strong electrochemical properties, with 161.3 mAh·g⁻¹ at 0.1C, 90.1 mAh·g⁻¹ at 5C, and 95.6% retention after 800 cycles at 1C. Optimal manganese doping is critical, as >60 wt% induces sluggish Mn²⁺/³⁺ kinetics and Jahn-Teller distortion, leading to anisotropic lattice strain. LMFP balances energy, stability, and cost, making it highly suitable for EV batteries.
