Lithium bis((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)azanide(Cat No.:L012566), commonly known as LiNTf₂ or lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, is a highly stable lithium salt widely used in electrolyte formulations for lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, and electrochemical devices. The NTf₂⁻ anion is a large, weakly coordinating, and delocalized anion that offers excellent thermal stability, solubility in organic solvents, and electrochemical performance. Its low lattice energy enhances ion mobility, making it ideal for high-conductivity applications. Additionally, it finds roles in ionic liquids, organometallic catalysis, and polymer chemistry, where minimal ion pairing and high chemical inertness are required.
