KN-93 phosphate(Cat No.:I011136)is a selective, cell-permeable inhibitor of calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII), with the molecular formula C26H32ClN2O8PS. It is commonly used in biochemical and cellular research to study CaMKII-mediated signaling pathways involved in memory, synaptic plasticity, cardiac function, and immune responses. KN-93 phosphate blocks CaMKII autophosphorylation, thereby modulating calcium signaling without affecting upstream calmodulin activity. It is water-soluble and often used in in vitro and in vivo models. Care should be taken to distinguish its effects from those of its inactive analog, KN-92, for experimental control and specificity.
