In strawberry fruit, Jarin-1 modulates secondary metabolism by reducing anthocyanin accumulation while promoting proanthocyanidin (PA) biosynthesis, accompanied by transcriptional changes in key flavonoid-related genes (FaANR, FabHLH33, FaMYB9/11).
