Janelia Fluor® 646, Tetrazine(Cat No.:I044580)is a bright, far-red fluorescent dye conjugated to a tetrazine moiety, designed for rapid and specific bioorthogonal labeling via inverse electron-demand Diels–Alder (IEDDA) reactions. With excellent photostability, high quantum yield, and minimal background fluorescence, it enables high-resolution live-cell and fixed-cell imaging. The tetrazine group reacts efficiently with trans-cyclooctene (TCO)- or strained alkene-tagged biomolecules, making it ideal for click chemistry applications in cellular and molecular biology. Janelia Fluor® 646, Tetrazine is especially valuable for super-resolution microscopy and dynamic tracking of biomolecular processes.
