IXA4（Cat No.:I044433）is a small-molecule activator of the IRE1α-XBP1s (inositol-requiring enzyme 1 alpha–X-box binding protein 1 spliced) arm of the unfolded protein response (UPR), which plays a crucial role in maintaining endoplasmic reticulum (ER) homeostasis. By selectively enhancing IRE1α’s RNase activity, IXA4 promotes the splicing of XBP1 mRNA, leading to increased expression of genes that improve protein folding and ER function.
