​Isonixin(Cat No.: I007381), also known as isonixine or Nixyn, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with the chemical formula C₁₄H₁₄N₂O₂. It has been utilized in the research of pain and inflammation. In vivo studies indicate that isonixin potentiates hexobarbital-induced sleep, reduces motor activity, counteracts cardiazol-induced convulsions, induces hyperthermia, and inhibits tremorine-induced tremors in mice. Pharmacokinetic studies reveal rapid gastrointestinal absorption, with a half-life of approximately 3.15 hours, and primary urinary excretion within 50 hours. Chronic administration in animal models shows mild toxicity without gastrointestinal lesions.
