Irsenontrine (Cat No.: I029511) is a selective 5-HT6 receptor antagonist developed for the treatment of central nervous system disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive impairments. By blocking 5-HT6 receptors, which are primarily expressed in brain regions involved in learning and memory, irsenontrine enhances the release of neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine and glutamate.
