Tris(2-phenylbenzo[b]thiophenato-N,C³′)iridium(III) (Ir(btpy)₃)(CAT: M440035) is a phosphorescent iridium complex developed as an efficient orange-to-red emitter for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Incorporating benzo[b]thiophene-based ligands, Ir(btpy)₃ combines strong spin–orbit coupling, excellent photoluminescence efficiency, and high thermal stability.
