HaXS8 (Cat No.: I045473) is a heterobifunctional chemical inducer of dimerization (CID) designed to control protein–protein interactions in synthetic biology and cell signaling studies. It consists of two reactive ligands connected by a chemical linker, enabling selective binding to two different protein domains, thereby inducing their proximity and functional interaction. HaXS8 is often used in optogenetics, inducible gene expression systems, and targeted protein activation or degradation platforms. Its modular design allows precise temporal and spatial regulation of biological processes, making it valuable for chemical biology and synthetic circuit engineering.
