Haloxyfop(Cat No.:R061801)is a selective aryloxyphenoxypropionate herbicide used for post-emergence control of annual and perennial grasses in broadleaf crops. It is rapidly converted to its active acid form, haloxyfop, which inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), a key enzyme in fatty acid biosynthesis. This inhibition disrupts membrane lipid production, leading to growth arrest and death of sensitive grasses. Haloxyfop is widely applied in soybean, cotton, and vegetable cultivation. In research, it serves as a model for studying ACCase-inhibiting herbicides, resistance mechanisms, and lipid metabolism in plants.
